Cianci, Elizabeth R. “Betty” of Quincy formerly of New Britian CT, January 3, 2005. Daughter of the late Grace (Farrell) and Michael Cianci. Sister of the late Michael and John Cianci. Beloved friend of Gail and Ashley Murphy of Quincy and Tracey and Ryan Carter of Weymouth. Also loving Aunt of Cathy Christy, Brian, Sharon,and Betty Cianci. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 333 Hancock St., N. QUINCY Friday at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, Quincy at 11 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 3-8 PM. Cremation will follow. Ms. Cianci was a graduate of Mary Amaculate Academy in New Britan CT. She recieved her bacheleors in Science from Central Ct. college.She was a member of the Congragation of Dauthters of Mary. late member of Quincy Teachers Assocation, New England Teachers Assoc., Massachucetts Teachers Assoc. and Norfolk County Teachers Assoc. Elizabeth was a pioneer in Special Education, championing the rights of multiple handicapped people in Connecticut. She brought all of her skill to Massachusetts in 1975 and loved and cared for many students. She worked with Social Services Mental Health ,developing programs that once again helped high rish special need students intergrate successfully into the community.
