Elizabeth P. ‘ Liz’ Mcguire

McGuire, Elizabeth ‘Liz’ (Grady) of Quincy, passed away June 5, 2011. Beloved wife of Thomas J. McGuire of Quincy. Loving sister of Ann T. McDonough and her husband, Gabriel, of Jamaica Plain, Mary C. Daly and her husband, Daniel of West Roxbury, and Joseph P. Grady and his wife, Frances of Tolland, CT. Sister-in-law of Mary Mooney of Woburn and the late Anne Keenan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Liz was born in Boston and lived many years in Jamaica Plain before moving to Quincy in 1980. Until her retirement she had worked for the Boston Gas Company as a customer service representative for fifty years. She had also taught Irish dance lessons for the Irwin/McGuire School of Irish Dancing. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Quincy at 10 AM.
