In her early years on weekends in the winter, Betty and her husband Ray departed North Station on the Ski Train for the New Hampshire slopes. Ray was an early member of the National Ski Patrol.  She loved spending many summer vacations with her family on Cape Cod.  In addition, she cherished her grandchildren and attended many of their activities.  Betty was greatly devoted to her family and enjoyed the company of her many friends.  Despite her many health challenges late in life, which she simply regarded as nuisances, she maintained her bright and cheerful spirit.  Betty was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
