Ballem, Elizabeth J. “Donna” died January 22, 2018.

Former wife of Paul Dunphy and Edward Fitzgerald.

Donna was a resident of Braintree, but lived in Dorchester, Quincy, Framingham and Weymouth, MA, Quechee, VT,  Princeton, NJ, and Plano, TX.  Donna will be remembered for being a loving and thoughtful person, concerned with politics and social justice. She loved movies and her family and she will be greatly missed.

Loving mother of Linda Dunphy and her husband Jim Kosko of St. Augustine Beach, FL, Donna Dunphy and her husband John Tempesta of Saugus, Paul Dunphy and his wife Mary of Hull, Tom Dunphy and his wife Evelyn of Quincy, James Dunphy and his wife Kimberly of Raleigh, NC. Cherished “Grammie” to Paul, Sarah, Jenn, Joseph, Taylor, Rachel, Daniel and Drew.  Step-Gram to Marena Kosko. Former stepmother to the Fitzgerald brothers.  Donna was the last surviving of 11 siblings, which include her brothers, the late Daniel, Leo, Paul, Joseph and John Ballem and dear sisters, the late Marie DiDonato-Caleb, Barbara Hamel, Ruth Ballem, Frances Ballem, Jeanne Sheehan & Annette Castro. Aunt to many devoted nieces and nephews including the DiDonato, Hamel, Ballem, Barra, Sheehan and Castro families. She also leaves behind nieces & nephews from the Butler, Murphy and Mooney families.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday 4-7PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.  Reception to follow.
