Elizabeth Graceffa

Elizabeth Graceffa (Wingo) of Weymouth, died October 22, 2017 at the age of 84.

Elizabeth was a proud U.S. Army veteran, serving as a nurse during the Korean War. She worked as a registered nurse for several local hospitals and retired in 1997 from South Shore Hospital. She volunteered for the Girl Scouts and in retirement for Sacred Heart School in Weymouth. She was a member of the Weymouth Senior Citizen’s Recreation Club, and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, embroidery and reading.

Elizabeth was the beloved wife of the late Anglelo J. Graceffa. Loving mother of Philip Graceffa and wife Barbara of Quincy, Anne Bernick and husband John of Wallingford, CT, Susan Krim and husband Mark of Holbrook, and Marilyn O’Keefe and husband Brian of Weymouth. Devoted grandmother of Robert, Angela and Maria Krim; and Mark and Joseph Bernick. Sister of Jean Varner of OK and the late Virginia Fincher and Marilyn Robbins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street). A funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial in Holyhood Cemetery, Boston. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Elizabeth may be made to Weymouth Food Pantry, PO Box 890009, Weymouth, MA 02189.
