Elizabeth F. Estes

Estes, Elizabeth F. (Collins) of Quincy, formerly of South Boston, passed away March 24, 2013. 

Beloved wife of the late Clayton F. Estes.  Loving mother of Keryl Estes of Quincy, Ross Estes and his wife Kim of Las Vegas, NV, Dail Estes of Braintree, Tammi Estes of Braintree, and the late Neil and Mark Estes.  Sister of the late Barry Collins, Patricia O’Connor and Margerie Schulli.  Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.  She was known for her sense of humor, love of shopping and her ceramics lessons.  Always aware of the local political scene, she enjoyed volunteering for Steve Lynch’s political campaigns.  They spent many summers on the beach in Marshfield, was an avid reader, crossword puzzler and card player.  She will be missed by all those who loved her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM.  Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
