Elizabeth D. Butler

Butler, Elizabeth Dorothy (McMann) of Hingham, passed away July 24, 2011. Wife of the late Harry W. Butler. Loving mother of Richard Butler and his wife Helen of Scituate and the late Joanne E. Doody. Mother in law of David Doody of Hingham. Sister of the late Clarence J. McMann. Grandmother of Richard Butler and his wife Stephanie of Boston, Lynda Caristi and her husband Kenneth of Hingham, Stephen Doody and his wife Kris Anes of Canton, Lisa Gates and her husband Jack of Scituate, Robyn Griffen and her husband Tim of Marshfield and the late Johanna Butler. Elizabeth is also survived by 10 great grandchildren. A lifelong Hingham resident. Elizabeth worked as a telephone operator for AT &T for many years. She was a member of the Pioneers Club. She will be sadly missed by her family. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-7pm in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 9am prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10am. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
