Westphal of Rutland, VT, formerly of West Quincy, and William Andrew Meier of NY. Sister of Margaret Leigh and Bartholomew Doohan, both of England and the late Andrew, James and Michael Doohan. Close friend of John and Susan Sullivan of Dorchester. Born in Ballaghadeereen, County of Roscommon, Ireland, Betty came to the United States at age seventeen. Betty was a member of St. Ambrose Mother’s Club in Dorchester when her children were small.
