Elizabeth D. Antonakos

Antonakos, Elizabeth D. “Betty” of Braintree, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2015 at 88 years old.

Betty was a Boston schoolteacher for 28 years and loved spending time with her family. Beloved wife of over 60 years to the late Charles G. Antonakos, loving mother to four daughters, Stella Miller of Quincy, Elaine Zagami and her husband Lou of Norton. Pauline Zorzos and her husband Reverend Steven of Rockville, MD and Clio Antonakos of Norton. Betty is survived by her three siblings, Mary Kokaros, Vicky Villas and Harry Shuris. Daughter of the late Dennis and Eleni Shuris. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Betty was so proud of her 6 grandchildren and also experienced the joy of 3 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Gregory the Theologian Greek Orthodox Church, Mansfield on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Burial at Edson Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell.
