Elizabeth Courtney

Elizabeth (Wentworth) Courtney of Middleborough, formerly of Quincy, died September 18, 2015. 

Elizabeth was the secretary of her senior class at Quincy High School. She worked as a clerk at the US Navy building and for Quincy Public Works for many years. She was a pragmatic woman who enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling to Florida, and was an avid reader. She would also do a crossword puzzle everyday in ink. She loved her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Beloved wife of the late Francis Courtney. Loving mother of William Courtney and his wife Camille of Quincy and the late Carole Furness. Cherished grandmother of Jessica Courtney. Sister of the late Gerri DiGravio. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to meet Friday at 10:30 AM at Keohane Funeral Home, QUINCY (785 Hancock St.), to proceed for graveside services in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy, at 11 AM for Elizabeth and her daughter Carole.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Elizabeth may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
