THE FUNERAL MASS AT ST. MARY’S CHURCH IN QUINCY HAS BEEN MOVED TO FRIDAY 3/16 AT 10:30 AM FOLLOWED BY THE BURIAL AT ST. MARY’S CEMETERY, RANDOLPH.

Savoie, Elizabeth A. (Murphy) “Bette” of Quincy, died March 4, 2018.

Bette adored animals, especially her many pets over the years. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and gardening. She worked at the Neighborhood Club in Quincy and then as an assembler at Aqua Leisure until retirement. Bette was a happy-go-lucky woman who was kind, loving, and never had a bad word to say about anyone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Beloved wife of the late James B. Savoie, Sr. Loving mother of James B. Savoie Jr. of ME, Kyle Savoie and his wife Christy of Brockton, and the late Sandra Russo and Victoria Foley. Cherished grandmother of Joseph, Christine, Tammy, William, Sarah, and Owen and 9 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Margaret Tausevich, Jaqueline Savoie, Mary Lee Curry, and Jean Buchanan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, including her niece and caretaker Dianne Lydon.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM on Friday. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bette may be made to MSPCA, Attn: Donation, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
