Elizabeth A. Rossborough

Elizabeth Ann (Anderson) Rossborough, 89, died on October 3, 2014.

Elizabeth, also known as “Ricky,” was a Roxbury native who also later lived in Randolph and South Boston. Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also loved her pet cats, playing bingo every week, and watching old cowboy movies. A much beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend, Elizabeth was a joy to be around. She always looked at the bright side and proceeded gracefully through life, no matter what came her way. To say she was good-natured would be an understatement. She loved to chat, as well as lend an ear, so you could easily talk with her for hours about anything and walk away smiling. She is and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Mass will be celebrated in memory of Elizabeth at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 10, 2014, at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, 757 Hancock Street, Quincy. A graveside service will also take place on Friday at 11:45 a.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery, 990 LaGrange Street, West Roxbury. A procession from Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, Quincy, to the St. Joseph Cemetery will begin promptly at 11 a.m. on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, donations to one’s charity of choice are welcomed and appreciated.
