Elizabeth A. Doherty

Doherty, Elizabeth A. (Sheehan) of Hingham, formerly of Somerville, January 25, 2008. Wife of the late Charles F. Doherty. Loving sister of Helen Sheehan of Arlington, Mary Edwards of Milton, Joseph Sheehan and his wife Ann of Atkinson, NH formerly of Melrose, Rita Monteiro and her husband Alex of Manchester, NH. Betty graduated from Catherine Laboure School of Nursing. She worked at the Mass Eye & Ear Hospital in Boston and later for a private doctor in his Boston office. Betty is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Tuesday at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, 147 North Street, Hingham at 11:30 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4- 8 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Betty may be made to the Home for Little Wanderers, 271 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02115.
