Elizabeth A. “Betty” Clifford

Elizabeth A. “Betty” Clifford  of Hull MA and Fort Myers Beach FL, and formerly of Roslindale MA on September 30, 2016, passed away peacefully at South Shore Hospital after a brief period of failing health.

Betty was the daughter of the late Bernard “Barney” and Elizabeth “Bessie” Farren of Clonmany Donegal, Ireland. Loving sister of the late Alice M. Farren formerly of West Roxbury and the late Joseph P. Farren formerly of Jamaica Plain. Beloved wife of the late Donald D. “Danno” Clifford formerly of Roslindale MA, and cherished life partner and companion of Joseph M. “Joe” Penta of Hull MA and Fort Myers Beach, FL. Loving mother of Linda M. Boyle and her husband Lawrence of Milton MA, Donna L. Lordan and her husband Thomas of Cranford NJ, Elizabeth S. “Beth” Hickox and her husband James of Weymouth MA, Karen A. Gordon and her husband Al of Westborough MA, David G. Clifford and his wife Donna of Northport FL, Paul B. Clifford and his wife Debra of Weymouth MA, Susan M. Clifford of Hull MA, and Stephen G. “Steve” Clifford and his wife JoEllen of Statesboro GA. Cherished “Grammy” to 21 grandchildren and “Gi Gi” to 5 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ann Church in HULL MA at 11 AM on Thursday October 6, 2016. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the church services. Visiting hours are omitted. Burial will be private.
