Elizabeth A. Caron

Elizabeth  A. (Sheehan) “Betty” Caron of Weymouth, formerly of Quincy, died July 12, 2014 at the age of 88.

Betty was an active member of the St. Francis Xavier Church Choir. For many years, she worked as a home health aid. She was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed bowling with her siblings and in laws. In retirement, Betty and her husband enjoyed traveling.

Betty was the wife of the late Thomas L. Caron. Loving mother of Theresa Y. Bognanno and husband John of Milton, Margaret M. Caron, Gerard T. Caron and wife Mary Ellen, Paul J. Caron and wife Jean, Arthur L. Caron, all of Weymouth, and Daniel J. Caron and wife Michelle of Acton. Loving sister of Anna T. Tingley, James T. Sheehan and wife Alice, both of Braintree, and the late Joseph W. Sheehan, Francis P. Sheehan, William J. Sheehan, and Edward Sheehan. She was the devoted grandmother to 10 grandchildren and her late grandson Douglas Bognanno.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
