Elizabeth A. Bailey

Elizabeth A Bailey ”Betty”, 86 yrs. old of North Weymouth passed away in the love and care of her family June 18, 2014 after a lengthy illness.

She was the loving wife of the late Donald W. Bailey. She is survived by her children Beth Haggerty and her husband, Mike of Belmont; Valerie Rubino and her husband, Tony of Quincy; Brad Bailey and his wife Joey of Rockland; Donald W Bailey Jr. and his wife Lois of South Boston; Loving Grandmother of Don Michael and Holly Bailey, Sam, Nicole and Elijah Bailey, Robbie, Ryan, Rene and Rory Haggerty. Great-grandmother of Lexi Connolly, Brook Ryerson and Scarlett Bailey. Also survived by her sister Pat Anderson of Pembroke, Jack Callahan and his wife Peg, Jim Callahan and his wife Joan, Sheila Bertuccio and her husband Pete and her brother-in-law Dick Griffin; predeceased by her sister Mary Varasso, Frances Cavallaro, Dorothy Griffin and Winifred Callahan.

Betty was a member of the Weymouth Women’s Club and the Weymouth Book Club. She was a prolific reader, a lover of puzzles and an accomplished crocheter.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 5-8PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.).  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at Monday at 9:30AM prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Betty to her favorite charity, Boys Town, 14100 Crawford Street, Boystown, NE 68010.
