Werner, Elizabeth Marie “Betty” of Quincy formerly of Dorchester, August 2, 2003. Daughter of the late Adele M. & Clement J. Werner. Sister of the late Francis J. Mitchell and William Connell. Beloved Aunt of Kathleen M. Mitchell , Anne Mitchell Connolly and her husband Paul, all of Milton. Great Aunt of Francis and Matthew Connolly, both of Milton. Dear Friend of Leota Clifford of Dennisport and the late Timothy Clifford and the late Eleanor Reddington . Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Thursday at 8:30am. Funeral Mass in St. John the Baptist Church, Quincy Thursday at 10am. Visitation will be prior to the Mass on Thursday morning. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, W. Roxbury. Betty, grew up in Dorchester. She began working for the Walter Baker Chocolate Factory when she was 18 years old and retired 38 years later when the factory closed . Betty was a longtime resident at the Rev. Victor Sawyer Towers on Martenson St. in Quincy. While a resident there, Betty was very active in the community activities. She was a long time communicant at St. John the Baptist Church in Quincy. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Fr. Bill’s Place, 38 Broad St. Quincy, MA 02169. Betty was an employee and a supervisor at the Walter Baker Chocolate Company for 38 years.
