Elio J. Balzarini

Balzarini, Elio (“Al”) a longtime Quincy resident, died on Friday, December 25, 2009. The beloved husband of the late Mary (“Barbara”) Balzarini. Loving father of Maureen Saussy-Kennedy of FL., James & Carla Balzarini; Brian & Susan Balzarini both of Bridgewater, Deborah & Stephen Jansen of Randolph and Marc & Katelyn Balzarini of Quincy. Brother of the late Louie & Henry Balzarini. Elio is also survived by his 9 grandchildren; Lucy, Matt, Amanda, Mike, McKenzie, Brigid, Owen, Noelle and Siobhan. Elio served in the United States Navy during World War II. A bricklayer for Local #3 for many years, he truly enjoyed his work and was considered a perfectionist in his trade. A devoted husband and dedicated father, he was larger than life to his cherished family. Elio will be sadly missed by all those who knew him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Wednesday, 4 – 8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 10:30 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
