Richardson, Elinor T. “Ellen” (Cronin) of Hull, February 3, 2006. Beloved wife of 51 years to the late Wallace E. “Wally” Richardson. Loving mother of Bruce Richardson & his wife Ellen Slaby of Brookline, Brian & his wife Theresa Richardson of Braintree, Nancy & her husband Thomas Birmingham, Faith Richardson and Heidi Richardson, all of the San Francisco Bay Area, CA. Loving sister of Madeline Richardson of Hull and the late Corinne Munro & David Cronin. Loving grandmother of Ryan & Kevin Birmingham and Craig & Brett Richardson. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM, Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery. Ellen graduated from Saint Thomas Aquinas High School in Jamaica Plain and went to work for Boston Edison for 4 years. She and her late husband Wally moved to Hull over 50 years ago to raise their family. In 1983, Ellen went to work as a receptionist for Ropes & Gray Law Firm in Boston and retired in 1995. She also worked as a teacher’s aid at the Jacob’s Elementary School in Hull and taught C.C.D. for St. Ann’s Church in Hull, where she was a communicant for over 50 years. Her interests included traveling, reading, scrabble and walking Nantasket Beach. Most of all, she loved her family and devoted her life to them. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ellen may be made to St. Jude Shrine, 512 W. Saratoga St., Baltimore, MD 21201.
