Eleanor P. Glasheen

Glasheen, Eleanor P. (Conley) of Hingham, died on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 she was 99 years old. The beloved wife of the late Thomas W. Glasheen. Cherished mother of Thomas K. Glasheen and his wife Gail and David L. Glasheen and his wife Barbara all of Hingham. Eleanor is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Eleanor worked as a sales associate in the cosmetic department at Filenes for more than 30 years. She later took a postion as an admission clerk at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Dorchester retiring back in 1982 at the age of 72. She enjoyed staying active and loved to be surrounded by her family. Eleanor will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowning her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Monday, April 26, 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9;15AM on Tuesday, prior to the Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church at 10 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
