Eleanor M. Palisi

Palisi, Eleanor M. (Zaia) of Quincy, died unexpectedly on April 5, 2009. The beloved wife of the late Anthony B. Palisi. Loving mother of Mary Schuelke and Anthony Palisi both of Quincy and the late John Palisi. Mother in law of Denise Palisi of Quincy. Sister of Jean Bono and Evelyn Lynes both of Milton and Nancy Tatro of Pittsfield and the late Dorothy Demers, Alma Chick and Richard Zaia. Devoted Nana of Anthony, Michaelle, John, Jestina, Hannah, Olivia and the late Evelyn Bonnie. Eleanor is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Eleanor was a graduate of Boston State Teachers College. She was a school teacher at the Charles Taylor School in Dorchester for many years retiring back in 1966. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who adored her family. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the celebration of life service Saturday at 9:15 in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St. Funeral blessing Saturday at 10am in St. Mary’s Church, West Quincy. Visiting hours Friday 6-8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
