Eleanor M. Gately
Gately, Eleanor M. (O’Shea) of Quincy, died February 15, 2016.
Eleanor was a long time loyal employee of MA Fair Plan, where she worked as an administrative assistant for many years. She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Ann’s Church in Quincy. Eleanor was always on the go, she was a member of a bowling league at Olindy’s and enjoyed traveling with her husband and cooking for her family.
Beloved wife of the late William J. Gately. Loving mother of Aimee Mailhiot of Quincy. Devoted Nana of Andrea J. Mailhiot and Nathan J. Mailhiot both of Quincy. Cherished life long friend of Barbara Baron of Quincy and the late Dorothea Miller. Caring sister-in-law of Alice Kilmurray and her husband Frank of Harwich. Also survived by 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:45 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 11:30 AM. Burial in Holyhood Cemetery, Boston.
