Eleanor L. Ryan

Ryan, Eleanor L. (McGuire) of Milton, died November 10, 2023.  

Daughter of the late Frank J. and Ellen R. (Clinton) McGuire. Born in Boston, she was a graduate of North Quincy High School and the Katherine Gibbs School of Boston. She held a full Massachusetts Insurance Broker’s License and was a 20 year employee of the State Court System. She was a member of the Quincy Historical Society, a friend of the QPL, the MFA, LWV, and was a friend of the Boston Symphony. She also enjoyed traveling. 

Wife of the late William J. Ryan and survived by three daughters and their spouses, Penney and Pete, Janis and Jim, and Marcia, as well as 7 grandchildren Sam, Ben, Lily, Jake, Will, Jack, and Ellie.

Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please take a friend to lunch in memory of Eleanor.
