Eleanor M. Fallon

Eleanor “Derry” Fallon of Weymouth, formerly of Dorchester passed away peacefully on October 13,2024 at the age of 94.

She was married to the late Frederick “Tiny” Fallon for 63 years.Survived by her daughters: Marie McDonough (Paul) of West Roxbury, ElizabethPinske (Ron) of Rockland, Regina Imprescia of Rockland,Christine LeGrice of Florida and the late Irene Fallon. She is also survived by her sister Irene Murphy SND. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: William Murphy, Leo Murphy, Jean Curran, Gerard Murphy and Philip Murphy. Additionally she leaves behind her grandchildren Meredith McDonough, Frederick McDonough, Brendan McDonough, Madeleine McDonough, Aaron Pinske, Amanda Imprescia, Allison Daugherty, Samantha LeGrice And Stephen LeGrice as well as her great grandchildren Eleanor Pinske, Parker Pinske, Andrew Pinske, Mary Pinske and Ellie Warnke. 

Derry was a graduate of Dorchester High School. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years. She was a proud member of the Walsh Post Women’s Auxiliary and in that capacity volunteered at VA Hospitals.Derry worked as a bookkeeper for many years at Colonial Nursing Home in Weymouth.Derry’s greatest pleasure in life was tending her amazing garden and this was a trait that she passed on to her daughters. Derry and Tiny spent many fun filled days camping and traveling with the family. One of their favorite holidays was Christmas which brought as much joy to the family as it did to them. She will be missed by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews along with her caring friends. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday November 3, 2024 from 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Monday November 4, 2024 prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.
