Taylor, Eleanor F. of Quincy, at Colonial Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy illness, July 25, 2002. Beloved sister of Arthur Taylor and his wife, Ruth, of Lincoln, ME, Kathleen Walsh of Hingham, and Anne Taylor of West Quincy. Survived by many nieces and nephews: Kristine, Sara, Robin, Peter, Leah, Laurie, Susan and the late Stephen. Also, survived by many grandnieces, grandnephews, a great-grandnephew, her beloved dog, Joshua, and many friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Monday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, West Quincy at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM. Burial in Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline. Born in Boston and raised in South Boston, Miss Taylor lived in Quincy since 1972. She graduated from South Boston High School, Simmons College and New England School of Law. She worked as an attorney and was former Clerk of the Bankruptcy Court. The first female clerk of the Bankruptcy Court, she retired in 1984 from the federal government. She loved music, birdwatching, walks on the beach, plays, reading, and gardening.
