Eleanor Ann Hobbs

Eleanor Ann Hobbs, Eleanor Ann (Mackie) of Raynham, formerly of Hanson and Brockton, died December 25, 2016 at the age of 83.

Ann worked as a legal secretary for the Rodick Law Firm in South Weymouth and later worked at the Harvard Medical School, in the Division on Aging. She enjoyed crafts and painting. The focus of Ann’s life and her greatest joy was her family.

She was the loving mother of Robert L. Hobbs of FL; Joyce A. Rego and husband John of Raynham; Cynthia L. Hobbs-Barrett and husband Michael of Mansfield; and Barbara E. Hobbs of Raynham. Sister of the late Mary Henderson, Elizabeth Rodney, Elva Flynn, and Bryan Mackie. Also lovingly survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Ann was also anxiouly awaiting the arrival of her newest great granddaughter Isla Ann.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Thursday at 10:30 AM. Burial in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Abington.
