LaCivita, Eleanor A. “Ellie” (Cannata) of Quincy formerly of Dorchester, October 4, 2005. Beloved wife of Albert L. LaCivita of Quincy. Loving mother of Stephen and his wife Ellen of Foxboro, Richard of Dorchester and his fiance Michele Vaccaro, Mark of Boston, Ellen and her husband Jim Curtin of Bridgewater, Andrea Conroy of Attleboro and her companion Steve Tricomi, Regina and her husband Michael Lescault of Walpole and Carol of Quincy and her fiance John Plonowski. Sister of Mary Eldredge of Chatham, Paul of Quincy, Edmund of S. Boston and William of Chatham. She was pre-deceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Eleanor and Albert have been married for 55 years. She loved to dance and over the years attended several ocassions at the McKeon Post in Dorchester. Ellie was famous for sending a greeting card to her family and friends for every occasion. Her cards were special because she added stickers to every envelope. She was a wonderful grandmother to her 9 grandchildren and attended all of their activities. Eleanor enjoyed traveling and made several trips to Florida over the past five years. They also enjoyed taking bus trips with their friends to many east coast destinations. Eleanor was a longtime member of the C.I.A. (Castle Island Association). Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Friday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 9 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Donations in memory of Mrs. LaCivita may be made to Fr. Bill’s Place 38 Broad St. Quincy, MA 02169.
