Eleni “Helen” Kyranos

 Kyranos, Eleni “Helen” (Glykides)  C. of Quincy, died peacefully on April 11, 2014 surrounded by her family.

She was 84. Beloved wife of 57 years to  the late Nickolaos J. (Niko)  Kyranos  Loving mother of Maria Mendros of Quincy and James Kyranos and his wife Maria of Quincy.  Sister-in-law of Kostas Kyranos of Milton, Chris Kyranos of Lakeville, George Kyranos of Raynham and the late Sofia Aevazelis, Elizabeth Kastrunis and Euripidis Kyranos. Cherished YiaYia of John, Elena, Nicholas, Katherine and Julia. Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews both here and in Greece. Eleni loved to laugh and thoroughly cherished her grandchildren and spent most of her life devoted to her family. She was deeply loved and will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday at 1 PM in St. Catherine’s Greek Orthodox Church, 119 Common Street, Braintree, MA. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
