Elaine L. Byrne

Elaine L. (Anderson) Byrne of Braintree and Hull, originally from Dorchester, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on January 5, 2019 at the age of 85.

Elaine worked in human resources, and as a receptionist, for the Servolift/Eastern Company for close to 20 years. She enjoyed traveling and attending her grandchildren’s activities.

She was the loving mother of Sheryl L. Monteiro and her husband David of Hull and Linda M. McDonald and her husband Michael of East Bridgewater. Proud “Mimi” of Christopher A. Monteiro, Kiely L. Monteiro, Kasey L. McDonald, and her “London Granddaughter” Robyn Grainger. Former wife of the late John T. Byrne. Loving sister of Karl A. Anderson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service and burial will take place in the spring at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dorchester.
