Elaine A. Lacey

Elaine A. Lacey of Charlestown, formerly of Mattapan, died January 5, 2018 at the age of 70.

Elaine worked in sales for contact lenses and eyewear for 30 years, winning several industry awards. Earlier in life, she worked as a dental hygienist. She enjoyed a glass of Scotch, sitting on the beach and sharing a good laugh with friends. Elaine would often remind you that “cats are people too”.

She was the daughter of the late Nora A. (Griffin) and James F. Lacey. Sister of John F. Lacey and wife Marilyn of Naples, FL, the late James Lacey and his wife Irene of Naples, FL and the late Jeanne M. Petrocelli and her husband Nicholas of Plymouth. Also survived by 10 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:45 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Cremation will follow.
