Eileen Therese (White) Daley, of Weymouth, formerly of Quincy and Pembroke, died peacefully on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was 67.
Eileen was born in Boston on November 16, 1955, and was the daughter of the late Edward and Mildred (Kennedy) White. She was raised in Dorchester, and graduated from St. Gregory High School. Eileen had many jobs throughout her life, but her career with the Massachusetts State Police Crime Lab as an Identification Technician was her favorite.
Eileen retired from the State Police in 2021 and enjoyed spending time reading and shopping. She was a horror movie buff and enjoyed introducing (and sometimes traumatizing) her children to her favorites as young as possible. She very much loved the Fall and Halloween was her favorite holiday. She loved everything that went along with it, especially witches. You would likely find witch decorations in her house year round.
Eileen was the beloved partner of Daniel Hankard of Weymouth, with whom she shared 21 loving years. She was the devoted mother of Tracy A. Marino and her husband Philip of Pembroke, Jill C. McCauley and her husband Robert of Weymouth, John “Adam” Devlin of Weymouth, and the late Christina “Tina” Devlin. Eileen was the loving grandmother of Cristina Kelsey of Bridgewater, Tyler Princiotta of Weymouth, Nicholas Kelsey of Rockland, Brandon Kelsey of Rockland, Joseph Marino of Pembroke, Aidan Devlin of Quincy, and Isabella Marino of Pembroke. She was the loving great-grandmother of Axel Kirk of Bridgewater and Wyatt Princiotta of Weymouth. Eileen was the dear sister of Edward White and his wife Eva of Saugus, and is also survived by many loving cousins and extended family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday, November 16, 2023, 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St., (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Cremation will follow.
Interment is private.
Memorial contributions may be sent in Eileen’s name to the charitable organization of one’s choice.
