Eileen P. Brady

Eileen Patricia (Caulfield) Brady died peacefully surrounded by loved ones at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Bridgeport, CT on October 2, 2018 at the age of 86, having lived a life of purpose that inspired everyone who knew her.

She was born on February 6, 1932 in Brookline, MA, daughter of the late Christopher and the late Margaret (Keohane) Caulfield. Eileen graduated Mission High School in 1949 and went on to earn her nursing degree from St. Margaret’s Nursing School in 1953. She was an operating room nurse at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, MA for nearly 50 years.

Eileen was an active member of the St. Francis Xavier Church in South Weymouth, Massachusetts for many years. After moving to Stamford, Connecticut in 2015, she joined St. Timothy’s Church in Greenwich.

Eileen was the beloved wife of the late John W. Brady and loving mother of John C. Brady and his wife, Stephanie, of Stamford, CT and David W. Brady and his wife, Janine, of Duxbury, MA; Loving sister of Margaret and her husband, Edward Collupy of Dorchester, MA, Joan and the late Harry Lyons of Milton, MA, the late Mary Caulfield, and the late Thomas Caulfield; Cherished Nana to her grandchildren, Kathryn, Caroline, Patrick, Jack and Alison Brady, great grandchild, Lyla MacNeil, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, October 5th, from 5 – 8 p.m. at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, South Weymouth, at 809 Main Street (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 6th, prior to the funeral mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, South Weymouth at 10 a.m. Burial in St. Francis Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
