Eileen Conneely

Eileen Conneely of Hull, died surrounded by her family on Monday October 12, 2020 at South Shore hospital in Weymouth, MA. She was 48

Born in Boston on October 27, 1971, she was the daughter of the late Ellie ( Walsh) Conneely- Shaffer and her husband James Shaffer of Hull and Patrick Conneely of Ireland. Sister of the late Patrick Conneely and his wife Shelly Somontes Sittinger of N.C., Kathleen McLaughlin and her husband Marty of Weymouth, Maureen Conneely of Hull, Sean Conneely and his wife Kristin of Hull, Kevin Conneely and his wife of Ana of Uxbridge. Cherished Aunt of Patrick, Brenna, Sean, Liam, and Kathryn. Eileen is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Eileen’s zest for life was contagious, she greeted everyone with her beautiful smile, she truly lit up a room. Eileen loved the beach, she was spontaneous and always ready for an adventure and fun. Whether it was a day at the beach, a boat ride, jet skiing, snowmobiling, a trip anywhere – she was ready. She loved children especially her nieces and nephews that she referred to as her “babies.” Eileen had a generous and giving soul. She accepted everyone and was always ready to help a friend in need. She lived exactly how she wanted to and she had a million stories to tell. Eileen was a gift to her family and anyone who was lucky enough to know her. Her memory will live forever in our hearts, she was truly loved by everyone. 

Relative and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday morning, Oct. 21  in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. Hingham from 8:30 -10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 11am.

Burial will be private.

This has been a very difficult time for the Conneely family, not only dealing with the on going pandemic, but having to handle Eileen’s hospitalization.
