Effie Dragani

Dragani, Effie C. (Taylor) of Carver, formerly of West Roxbury, August 10, 2004. Wife of the late Dante V. Dragani. Beloved Mother of Patricia A. Brady of Carver, Thomas A. Dragani of Wareham and Dante T. Dragani and his wife Cynthia of Walpole. Effie is also survived by her 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Effie grew up in Nova Scotia, Canada and came down to the United States when she was 17 years old. She married Dante Dragani and raised her family. She lived in Roslindale and West Roxbury for most of her life. Effie was an avid Red Sox Fan – her family recalls her knowing most of all the “stats “on all the players – she knew their schedule better than the team themselves. She loved to knit and crochet and made beautiful items for her family and friends. She loved county music and was an avid reader. Later in her yearsshe took to computers and enjoyed e-mailing her family. Mrs. Dragani lived in West Roxbury from 1959 until 1998 and moved to Carver with her daughter Patricia.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Kfoury Keohane Funeral Home, 8 Spring St. (corner of Centre St.), WEST ROXBURY Saturday at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Theresa’s Church, West Roxbury (handicapped accessible) at 11AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM . Burial in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
