O’Donnell, Edward U. of North Quincy, May 5, 2005. The Beloved Husband of Virginia (Mostyn) O’Donnell of Quincy and former husband of the late Florence (Cullinane) O’Donnell. Loving Father of Priscilla Hatch, Denise McLeod and Ted O’Donnell all of South Boston, Colleen O’Donnell of Westboro, Nancy Keith of Springfield, VA , Susan Mahan of Weymouth and Catherine O’Donnell of Quincy. Brother of Joan Merrill of Tyngsboro , Paul O’Donnell of Quincy and the late Chickie McGowan and Mary MacLellan. Mr. O’ Donnell is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne Tuesday at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Mr. O’Donnell may be made to the National Alliance for Mental Illness, c/o Barbara Sullivan, 265 Fayette St. Quincy, MA 02170. Mr. O’Donnell was a United States Navy W.W.II Veteran, as well as an attorney for the United States Government. Mr. O’Donnell grew up in South Boston. He went to Boston Latin and then on to Boston College and graduated from Boston College Law School. Mr. O’Donnell went to work for the United States Government Dept. of transporation. He served in the United States Navy from 1941 until 1945.
