Edward S. Fonseca, Sr.

Fonseca, Edward S., Sr. of Quincy formerly of Dorchester, October 6, 2008. Beloved husband of Shirley A. (Rocha) Fonseca of Quincy. Loving father of Edward S., Jr., Manuel S. and his wife Julianne and Robert S. and his wife Barbara; all of Quincy. Grandfather of Edward, Timothy Sr., Jason, Matthew, Amanda, Andrew and Jessica. Great grandfather of Kierstin, Jayada, Christopher, Timothy Jr., Kyleigh and Jordyn. Edward’s life revolved around his family. He enjoyed taking part in his children’s activities when they were young. He also played the guitar and ukulele. Mr. Fonseca was old fashioned, loving, stubborn and had a good sense of humor. He was fond of Hershey chocolate, the Red Sox and watching cartoons with his grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Friday at 8:15 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 9 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
