Edward R. Chisholm Jr.

Chisholm, Edward R., Jr. of Braintree, died November 3, 2014. 

Ed served in the Navy for four years and went on to work as a drug and alcohol counselor at the Gavin House in South Boston. He was very passionate about his time there and was always caring, generous, and would help anyone in need. His family was most important to him. His has been together with his wife Diane for 47 years, very proud of his sons and their accomplishments, and adored his grandchildren. He will be truly missed by all of those that knew him.

Beloved husband of Diane (Gleason) Chisholm of Braintree. Loving father of Edward J. Chisholm and his wife Jennifer of MN and Michael Chisholm and his wife Renee of Braintree. Cherished brother of Joyce Mason and her husband Richard of FL and Maureen, Thomas and wife Nancy, and John Chisholm, all of Weymouth. Doting grandpa to Brady, Casey, Ariyana, and Brendan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 7:30 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree at 8:30 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
