Seabury, Edward M., Jr. of Hull, formerly of Wakefield, April 29, 2009. Husband of M. Carol (Doyle) of Hull. Father of John and Joanne Brown of Dracut, Thomas and Mary of Hull, Maryann and Ken Valcourt of VA and Edward and Karen of ID. Brother of the late Mary E. Griffin and Eleanor Richard. Grandfather of Katelyn, John, Sara, Adam, Katherine, Ryan, Mary, Julian, George, Nathan and Nolan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Seabury, above all else, was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He was involved in all of his children’s activities, including skiing, sailing, camping, fishing, mountain climbing, and their many sports teams. He loved to work around the house and could fix anything. He was a voracious reader and spent much time tending to his garden and flowers. Ed volunteered at a soup kitchen and food pantry in Wakefield and NH. He was a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society and Knights of Columbus. Mr. Seabury was active in his church as a CCD Teacher and CYO parent, who assisted with the St. Joseph’s Church of Wakefield Conquistador Marching Band. He was known for his integrity and selflessness. Mr. Seabury graduated from Wakefield High School and Suffolk University. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Tuesday at 10:15 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 11 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Edward may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 208 Samoset Avenue, Hull, MA 02045.
