Edward L. Halloran, Jr.

Edward L. Halloran, Jr., a retired boilerman for Boston Edison, died on December 5, 2022 at the Cardigan Nursing Home in Scituate. He was 80.

Born in Somerville, Ed lived in Weymouth for 54 years. He was known for his long walks through South Weymouth.

He was the loving husband of the late Beverly (Farnell) Halloran, the father of Christopher Halloran of CO and Edward L. Halloran, III of Rockland, the late Brian Halloran and Karen Elliott and “Papa” to Lauren, Timothy and Julianne Halloran, Sarah, Matthew, Abigail and the late Josh Elliott. He was predeceased by his sister Maureen Lach.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) where a funeral service will be celebrated at 6 PM.
