Edward J. Keenan

Edward J. “Eddie” Keenan of Quincy, passed away peacefully after battling a long illness. Born and raised in Dorchester, Eddie was an avid sports enthusiast. Eddie enjoyed playing and watching baseball, basketball, and cheering on any Boston sports team. His sports collection he had accumulated over the years was something to be admired. He loved traveling to different ball parks around the country and trying out new restaurants.

Eddie was a graduate of St. Mark’s School and Boston English High School. Although later in life Eddie moved to Sharon, MA with his wife Beverly, he was a true OFD guy. He worked for Stop and Shop in the marketing department for over 30 years. Eddie was predeceased by the love of his life, Beverly. Beloved son of the late Mary A. (Wentworth) and Edward J. Keenan. Loving brother of Mary Crowley (Ret. BPD Sgt. Det) of Weymouth and her late husband Jay, and John “Jackie” of Dania Beach, FL. Cherised Uncle to several nieces and nephews, as well as many great nieces and nephews. Great friend to Billy Gately. Eddie will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Respecting his wishes, services will be private.
