Edward “Jim” Carroll, Jr.

Carroll, Jr., Edward J. “Jim” of Dorchester, formerly of So. Boston and Bridgewater died January 4, 2008. Cherished son of Helen (Landry) and the late Edward J. Carroll of FL. Beloved father of Kathy Carroll of Rockland. Devoted companion of Ann Marie George of Dorchester. Loving brother of Maureen and her husband Rich Dubee of FL. Dear uncle of Megan and Michael Dubee of FL. Close friend of Michael George of Dorchester. Jim grew up in Bridgewater and graduated from Bridgewater State College. He was an avid sports fan of all the Boston teams. In his younger years, he played golf and softball. He was also in a bowling league. Jim was in the Retail Management business for many years. He was a manager at the Radio Shack in So. Boston and retired from there about 5 years ago. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Wednesday at 7:00 PM. Visitation prior to service from 4 – 7 PM. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Edward “Jim” Carroll, Jr. may be made to The Jimmy Fund, 1309 Beacon St., Brookline, MA 02446-9918.
