Edward J. Kulik of Canton, formerly of Quincy and Dorchester, died June 27, 2014 at the age of 86.
Edward worked as a fossil fuel mechanic for Boston Edison Mystic Station for 37 years, retiring in 1991. He was a graduate of South Boston High School, class on 1945 and served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
He was the husband of the late Noreen (Fennell) Kulik. Loving father Edward J. Kulik, Jr. of Centerville, Judith Anne MacSweeney & husband Jim of Canton, and William R. Kulik and wife Michelle of Pembroke. Devoted “Papa” of Brian and Erica MacSweeney and Peter Kulik. Brother of the late Nellie Wiech, Joseph Kulik, Stella Domurat, Benny Kulik, Henry Kulik, Ida Sestak and Walter Kulik.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 5-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:45 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 11:30 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward’s memory may be made to Brockton VA Med. Ctr. Hospice Unit 42C, 940 Belmont St., Brockton, MA 02301.
