Edward J. Duggan

Duggan, Edward J, 89, of Hingham, formerly of Dorchester, died September 27, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.

Edward was a proud U.S. Marine retired after 20 years of service. Tennis, reading, traveling and spending time with his family were some of Eddie’s favorite past times.

Beloved husband of 65 years to Betty (Geary) Duggan of Hingham. Son of the late Edward and Kathleen (Quinn) Duggan. Cherished father of Paul Duggan of Albuquerque, NM, Frank Duggan and his wife Susan of Fayette, MO, Louise Everett and her husband Steve of Newburyport, MA, Mark Duggan of Hingham, MA, Mary Ann Maynard of Weymouth, MA, Peter Duggan and his wife Lisa of Plymouth, MA, Theresa Duggan of Weymouth, MA, Joseph Duggan and his wife Shannon of Newport, RI and Aileen Arzeno and her husband Felipe of Brockton, MA. Treasured Grandpa and Papa of Michael, Bridget, Ashley, Patrick, Halle, Mac, Sarah, Elisa and Monica. Also the proud great grandparent of Boden, Cyrus and Finn.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 10/3 from 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul’s Church, Hingham on Tuesday 10/4 at 10 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Edward to Beacon Hospice or a charity of your choice.
