Capeless, Edward “Eddie” J., Jr. of Quincy, died January 26, 2015.
Eddie proudly served in the United States Army for 6 years during the Vietnam conflict. He retired from Sears after working in the warehouse for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and volunteered at Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Quincy. He loved sports and played on a softball league and was an avid fan of all the Boston teams. Eddie enjoyed traveling with his late wife Marcia, taking a big trip every year. He loved spending time in the sun and going to the beach in Plymouth and Cape Cod. Family was very important to him and he cherished the time he spent with his nieces and nephews, and also his 4 cats.
Son of the late Edward J. Sr. and Eileen (Kennedy) Capeless. Beloved husband of the late Marcia (Plourde) Capeless. Loving brother of the late Gerald Capeless and his surviving wife Helen. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, sisters in law and brothers in law, and his cat.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 10-11:30 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, 40 Sea Street, North Weymouth followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Quincy at 12 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Eddie may be made to South Shore Humane Society, P.O. Box 850187, Braintree, MA 02184.
