Edward J. Frazier Jr. of Quincy, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He was 74.
Edward was born in Chelsea and was the son of the late Edward and Ada (Evans) Frazier. He was raised in Boston’s South End, attended local schools, and graduated from Boston English High School. He continued his education at Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. Edward worked as a tax consultant. He enjoyed his career and all the relationships he built throughout the years.
Edward was also a Hymnologist who specialized in the study, composition and researching of Hymns. Edward also had a great affection for the many Himalayan cats he and Pearl shared over their years together.
Edward was the beloved husband of Pearl (Campbell) Frazier. The first met back in 1978 and later married in October 1994, and together, they shared almost 30 years of marriage. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Vivian DeLeire of Melrose, and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, 10-11 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.
His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 11 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy.
Services will conclude with interment in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
