Beers, Edward D. of Quincy, formerly of Chicago, IL, December 1, 2002. Beloved husband of Carol S. (Dohmann) Beers. Loving father of Susan M. Nassise, Thomas E. and Julie A. Beers, all of Quincy. Son of the late Ivan L. and Mary (Bobrick) Beers. Brother of Mary Lynn Kewitz of Wisconsin Dells, WI, William Beers of Monee, IL, James Beers of Wisconsin Dells, WI, Philip Beers of Park Forest, IL and the late Patricia Sawyer. Devoted grandfather of Ryan T. Beers. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Thursday at 8:00 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, North Quincy at 9:00 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.Prior to working as Accounting Manager for Seaboard Flour Company in Chestnut Hill, Edward worked for the Automobile Insurers Bureau for fifteen years. He was a notary public and a graduate of the University of Sothern Florida. Playing the piano and guitar for himself and his family was one of his favorite pastimes. He also enjoyed playing racquetball. At age 19, Edward began serving in the U.S. Marine Corps during peacetime. Donations in memory of Edward may be made to Toys for Tots, P.O.
