Edward C. Robak

Robak, Edward C. of Quincy, died October 11, 2014 surrounded by his family.

The beloved husband of 59 years to  Katherine “Kay” (Fisher) Robak of Quincy. Cherished father of Edward C Robak, Jr. and his wife Catherine of Weymouth, Susan Doyle  and her husband Michael of Quincy, Janet Glennon and her husband William of Easton, Richard Robak and his wife Janet of Weymouth, and Kim Holland  and her husband Robert of Jamestown, RI. Brother of  Mildred Dzengelewski of Savin Hill and  John Robak of Washington and the late Raymond Robak, Louise Pienkos and Bridget Bubencik.  He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Ed grew up in South Boston and later moved to Dorchester where he raised his family. He worked for Boston Water and Sewer for many years before he retired in 2000. He enjoyed Bass fishing and playing cribbage. Ed loved the holidays mainly because he cherised the time he spent with his family. He was devoted to them all. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and for all the blessings he brought into each of his childrens’ lives. He will be greatly missed. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Boston.
