Edward B. “Ed” Warren of East Bridgewater, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on January 31, 2024, at the age of 78. Has was the beloved husband of the late Therese (Donato) Warren, devoted father to Lori Marini and her husband Paul of Sagamore, and Greg Warren and his wife Cheryl of Milton. Brother of Jane Cavanagh of Punta Gorda, FL, Nancy Imboden of Hobe Sound, Fl And Wendy McEachern of Braintree.

He was the cherished Grampy to Mitchell Marini, Joseph, Paige, Emily Warren, and the late Matthew Warren. Grampy took immense pride in each of them and loved them very much. Ed is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Ed, a United States Army Vietnam War Veteran, left his mark as a skilled sign painter and hanger, notably contributing to the iconic Citgo sign near Fenway with University Brink Sign Company. Post-retirement, he devoted himself to caring for his wife until her passing in 2002, showcasing a deep commitment to family. His legacy of compassion and devotion resonates in the hearts of those who knew him, and as his family mourns, they are grateful for the profound blessings he brought into their lives.

Ed was a passionate NASCAR enthusiast, and we’re confident he’ll be watching the Daytona 500 from above on the 18th.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to pay their respects during the visiting hours on Friday, February 9, 2024, from 9-11 AM at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 AM at Holy Trinity Parish in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Quincy. Ed will be laid to rest in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

In honor of Ed’s memory, instead of flowers, we invite you to express gratitude to a veteran, recognizing the invaluable gift of their service in safeguarding and defending our beloved country.
