Edna Tobin

Tobin, Edna (MacKinnon) of Quincy, died August 17, 2015. 

Edna was born in Price Edward Island, Canada.  Throughout her life, Edna was passionate about caring for others.  She devoted her childhood to caring for her siblings and after starting her own family, was the most loving mother to her own five children.  Edna enjoyed her time as a visiting nurse, providing genuine care to all those she encountered.  In her spare time Edna could be found cooking delicious meals for her home full of people or playing cards or bingo.  Edna will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Pre deceased by her beloved husband Lawrence V. Tobin.  Loving mother of Michael Tobin and Rhonda Dowling of North Lake, Prince Edward Island, Lawrence Tobin, Jr. of Quincy, Margaret Tobin and Jim Peluso of Quincy and the late Charles and Leo Tobin.  Devoted grandmother of Bailey, Beverly, Jake and Olivia.  Caring sister of Harold MacKinnon and his wife Mary, Sara MacKinnon, Celia MacInnis and the late Victor, Joe, Kenny, Paddy and D.F. MacKinnon.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
