Walker, Edna M. (Egan) of Braintree formerly of Quincy, July 11, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Lt. William B. Walker, USN (Ret.) Loving mother of William F. and his wife Polly, Paul S., all of Braintree, Robert B. NY, James M. and his wife Susan of Canton and Mark F. of Quincy. Sister of the late Francis, Paul B., William, Alice Borden and Noreen Babine. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Saturday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree at 9 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Mrs. Walker may be made to Hospice of Greater Boston & Brockton, 500 Belmont St., Suite 215 Brockton, MA 02301. Edna loved candlepin bowling and participated in many leagues over the years. She was a founding member of the Parkettes League in Quincy and a member of the Women’s Merchant League in Quincy. She travelled the world with her sister and friends to destinations in both the United States and Europe. Mrs. Walker was an avid Red Sox fan and also enjoyed playing cards. She was a 1934 graduate of Quincy High School. Her family gave her the most enjoyment in life. They describe her as cheerful, upbeat with a great sense of humor and stoic in the face of pain.
